This time of year when the leaves start falling and the days get a little cooler, I start thinking about adding warm, comforting soup recipes to our daily menu. Soups are not only great for a quick meal, but are nourishing as well. So I decided to visit some of my favorite blogs and put together a collection of new soups I want to try and I want to share them with you so you can try them too. (Be sure to click on the name of the soup to go to the recipe.)
Let’s start things off with a wonderful Minestrone Soup Recipe using garden vegetables, kale, and pasta from Today’s Creative Life.
I’ve been looking for a good recipe for broccoli cheese soup and this one from Craving Some Creativity, Vegetable Broccoli Cheese Soup, is a little different as it includes carrots and potatoes in addition to the broccoli. Sounds good! I can’t wait to try it.
We all have our favorite chili recipe and fall is the perfect time to add a new one to your list of favorites. The “surprise ingredient” in the Easy BBQ Chili recipe from My Fabulouss Life makes it one to try for sure.
The addition of wild rice to this Cheesy Chicken Wild Rice Soup is the perfect dinner for a cold, rainy evening. It looks like it would be easy to make too which is my favorite kind. Shared by 3 Little Greenwoods.
A collection of soup recipes isn’t complete unless it includes a recipe for tomato soup to enjoy for lunch or a quick fall dinner. This recipe, 10-Minute Paleo Tomato Soup from Cook Eat Paleo is not only quick and easy to make, but is also gluten free.
I remember Mom making potato soup and while Creamy Bacon Potato Soup Recipe from Tidy Mom isn’t exactly like my Mom used to make (can you ever find a recipe just like your Mom’s?) it sure looks yummy and one that is on my list of soups to try.
Another old standby is vegetable soup, but Allyson over at Domestic Superhero took this recipe for Loaded Vegetable & Wild Rice Soup to the next level by adding plenty of fresh vegetables and wild rice. A keeper for sure.
This Slow Cooker Cabbage Roll Soup from Kenarry looks like a great one to try. I love slow cooker recipes and I also love cabbage rolls so it stands to reason that I will also love this recipe
This Chicken & Cheese Tortellini Soup over at Buy This Cook That looks like a great pasta soup recipe. The combination of a chicken soup with cheese filled tortellini seems like the perfect combination.
This Hearty Chicken Bacon Soup Recipe from I Heart Planners looks yummy and is one that is going on my list of new fall soup recipes. I especially like that it includes white beans and spinach.
Wow! I don’t know about you, but I found several soups that I’m going to try and I think they are destined to be added to our family favorites.
