Container Gardening Ideas

Container gardening is one of my favorite ways to garden.  It’s so much easier to use my potting bench instead of having to bend over to plant flowers in the ground.  And at my age, that’s an important consideration. Not only that, but it allows me to move flowers that are currently blooming to prominent places around the yard and on my porch and deck. DIY Spring Teacup Planter

Even though it’s starting to warm up a little, it’s still a bit too cold for me to go out and do much planting. We did go out yesterday and rake up leaves, but it’s still too cold to do much.  So I decided to purchase some indoor succulents and make a little teacup planter garden for my antique hoosier. I love the way it turned out and it’s surprising how such a small change has brightened up the kitchen. My Backyard Landscaping

I love my backyard!  In fact, It is one of the reasons we purchased our house.  The inside of the house was alright, but the backyard was exactly what I had been dreaming of. Most of the fern across the back was already there when we moved in, but I added the plants above that get the prettiest blue flowers each spring.
